Objective and Contents of the Course

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to teach students who an entrepreneur is and what entrepreneurship is, starting from its historical foundations, and what needs to be done in the establishment and operation of a successful and innovative enterprise (business) in the context of technology and innovation. In addition, by discussing the types of entrepreneurship, the subject will not only be about establishing and managing a business, but also how individuals can exhibit entrepreneurial and innovative characteristics based on different types of entrepreneurship.
Course Content: The scope of the course generally includes the concepts of enterprise, entrepreneur and entrepreneurship, the historical development of entrepreneurship, the development and current status of SMEs in Turkey and the world, things to consider when establishing an enterprise, types of enterprises, environmental analysis and SWOT in entrepreneurship, digital entrepreneurship, innovation in entrepreneurship and innovation types and applications in the context of innovation, and the marketing plan, production plan, management plan and financial plan within the framework of the entrepreneurship business plan.
