Aim of the Programme

Piri Reis University Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering's Master's Program in High-Performance Marine Platforms aims to cultivate innovative and research-oriented engineers with in-depth knowledge and skills in the design, construction, and operation of marine platforms. This program offers students the opportunity to specialize in fields such as hydrodynamics, structural analysis, materials science, and energy efficiency of marine platforms, enabling them to conduct research on current topics like sustainable maritime and clean energy sources, and contribute to the development of next-generation marine platforms. The program is conducted in collaboration with industry and provides students with internship opportunities, enabling graduates to pursue successful careers in design offices, research institutions, or universities within the maritime sector.
