Graduates will serve as captains of the distance on ships navigating all over the world, following the preparation period as watchkeeping officers on eligible vessels. Graduates will also be able to work in positions such as maritime, brokerage, shipbuilding, maritime insurance, human resources, port management etc. Academic education consists of eight semesters, which are applied as the first term summer internship in the third year. Trainees specialize primarily in advanced math, physics, chemistry, basic engineering, technical drawing and computer courses, navigation and seamanship, cargo operations, ship and ship management. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Transportation Management Engineering. The curriculum is in full compliance with STCW 2010. |
