Purpose of the Maritime Management and Economics Master's Program with Thesis
The Master's program in Maritime Management and Economics aims to cultivate qualified professionals for the maritime sector who have a deep understanding of the complex structure of the maritime industry, the dynamics of international trade, and the economic processes within this sector.

The primary objectives of the program are:

Theoretical Knowledge and Practical Application: To provide students with a solid theoretical foundation in maritime transportation, port management, marine insurance, logistics, and other related subjects, while also enabling them to follow current developments and practices in the sector and to develop the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
Analytical Thinking and Decision Making: To enhance students' abilities to analyze complex maritime industry problems, make data-driven decisions, and generate creative solutions.
Leadership and Management Skills: To develop students into individuals capable of assuming leadership positions in maritime companies and related organizations, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
Research Ability: To develop students' abilities to conduct independent research on current topics in the maritime sector and to access scientific information.
International Perspective: To provide students with a broad perspective on international trade, maritime law, and the marine environment due to the global nature of the maritime industry, and to cultivate individuals who can compete in the international arena.
